How does what you write address the original comment of Zer0's 'self sustain'? These things weren't what 'The | Suit' was referring to. This is what my main form of healing is for him as I've worked on getting him to OP8 without trope OP gear, nor healing guns.

Krieg heals off every kill with his ability, has an ability to heal from all overkill damage, and if you go Hellborn he can heal from elemental damage. If you remember this, and that he's an assassin, he can definitely be soloed. The problem comes when you try to play him generically, like any other toon. Just like Krieg who I'm learning now, if you adjust your mindset about Zer0, he's very self-sustaining. She’s constantly bragging about her sex life which, for the record, entails men and women. Representation is uncommon, and while it’s important to push for this to improve, it’s also vital that we celebrate what we’ve got and how much such steps forward have meant to people. If I asked you to name a handful of triple-A games that sported prominent queer personalities, you’d probably pull out five or six titles at a push, and it’s likely that those would be Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Overwatch, Life is Strange, and The Last of Us. Across an industry that still struggles with proper representation, Gearbox’s greatest hit is a beautifully LGBTQ+ friendly romp.īig budget blockbusters seldom give much of the limelight to LGBTQ+ characters and so when they do, it’s an anomaly. From its explosively colorful palette to its quirky cast of characters to its anything-goes approach, it felt like home in a way no other game did. Before even meeting the likes of Hammerlock, Athena, or the trans protagonist FL4K, the franchise oozed queerness. They stand with solidarity, and it’s a treat to see.
